i am so in love with my little gypsy wagon illustration. as an inspiration, i used my pinterest board gypsy love to draw and recreate my version of this adorable wagon. she reminds me of so many amazing lil' memories she strikes up. as you may or may not know...i am a h uge wizard of oz fan. and theres one scene with dorthy and the wizard in kansas when she runs away and meet up with this gypsy wagon and the wizard. also, as a kid, my mom always made mention, because we were on the move so often, that we were traveling gypsies. although, young life was rough, but this wagon is such a great memory. everything about this illustration makes me so excited. i just can't wait to she where this bohemmian gypsy wagon ends up?

i need to change her color combinations... and i can't wait to solder these cute lil' charms! Then, when i get a chance...she will be tooled on a cute messenger bag, just in time for our Glitterfest Event in March 2014.

A Gilded Life

This summer I had the pleasure of working with the dynamic mom and daughter duo of
A Gilded Life!

In the arts and crafts industry, I have had the pleasure of meeting the most amazing, encouraging, & uplifting women! 

As artist, we all have a connecting kindred spirit of joy! And when you can connect with another woman on that level, it's the most encouraging moment! Women that are genuinely excited about your success; that want to lift you up, can be very hard to find. 

Shea and Debbie, to me, have been just that; encouraging, down to earth, let me break it down to you....! 

That to me is the real deal! 

I'm excited to try their new jewelry line they are introducing at CHA this year! 

I'm thinking a few of my personal illustration will be housed very nicely in one of these beautiful pieces! 

Anyway, I just wanted to lift these women up as they move into the week of CHA and let them know how much I appreciate their personalities and encouragement! May they sell the $&;)? out of their jewelry line. 

Kick a ton of Pirate Booty and take names!

it's a New Year and I'm feeling good! 

This week I am finally opening up my etsy account again. I've been double booked for the last 3 months and felt like i was drowning in my new business role. But like everything in life, the beginning is always a major learning curve, and I was sucking it all in....but forgot how to breathe normal. 

 

But with my little break, and New Year's Resolution...I'm positive that this year, although still chaotic...will be alot more bearable.
